We maintain a comprehensive inventory of film types including static dissipative polyethylene, metalized polyester, military specifications, corrosion protection, fire retardant, printed materials, clear and foil barrier films and cushioning products.  Additionally our new Slide Zipper Slide-Guard technology developed to meet FDA and Poison prevention requirements, has opened opportunities in flexible packaging not previously available.

Charles de Heras
Founder & President

Charles founded Specialty Enterprises, D.B.A. SECO Industries in 1982. Working with Hela-Packaging he developed Specialty Packing to transport sensitive electronic components for ESD and Cushion Protection which SECO pattens. Through his dedication, hard work, and a great team, SECO has been in business for over 40 years. Charles has an immense amount of knowledge he has imparted to his team, which allows for his team to be ready for any inquiry regarding product knowledge. Being in this industry as long as Charles comes with many years of experience and trust. We’ve been able to withstand recessions, and pandemics, and that’s due to Charles’ leadership.

Daren de Heras
Vice President

Daren is the Vice President, and has been with SECO for 30 years.  Daren prides himself in taking care of the day to day here at SECO Industries. Following in his father’s footsteps, he will run this company as the President of SECO Industries. Until then, he will continue his duties as Vice President and prepare for succession in the future. Having been inspired by his grandfather and father, he already has a unique mind for business. He tries to stay up to date and even ahead of the game when it comes to marketing and reaching out to not only our loyal clientele, but any potential new clients we can take on. This business is an important part of their family and Daren intends on it growing the business even more.

SECO Sales Team

Our Sales Team really does make the business happen, by selling a number of products to businesses that are in need of flexibale packaging and/or custom packaging. Our Sales team offers the highest quality of Customer Service and ensures your orders are added into our production schedule.

Patty Donlucas
Head of Sales

Patty has been with the company for over 30 years, and knows how every facet of SECO works, making her a huge asset to our team. She handles much of the large-scale sales ensuring the highest quality and customer service. Working closely with Charles and Daren, she has a unique insight to the company and how they want it to run. Patty put to work what she learned over the years to develop her Sales skills that she can practically run SECO on her own. She also has an extensive knowledge of all the products we sell. Our clients can end the call knowing they are in the best possible hands for an order they place with us.

Lily Cruz
Sales Representative

Lily is one of SECO Industries’ Sales Reps. She has been with SECO for 5 years, and has built up a loyal clientele through her efficient work ethic, extensive product knowledge, and top-notch customer service. Lily will always communicate lead times, delays, and will always think of her clients first when product is available. Lily is in constant communication with our warehouse to maintain a speedy turnaround time for any orders placed with her. She prides herself in her customer service to clients and her work here at SECO. Without a well-oiled Sales Team working behind the scenes SECO wouldn’t have the trust and credibility it has from its clients.

Gema Rivera
Sales Representative

Gema is one of SECO’s Sales Reps. She has been with SECO for nearly 5 years, and has a clientele that continue to work with her due to her ability to be in constant communication, always puts product aside for them, and great customer service. She is efficient with her orders, has great product knowledge, and ensures production is working on them for a turnaround time that fits her clients needs. Gema’s customer loyalty is a benefit due to her hard work. Gema cares for her clients and their orders that come through, whether its an email quote request or a phone call. Gema’s clients trust that she will do a great job every time, which is why she gets so many great repeat orders for SECO.

SECO Production

Our Production teams keeps SECO’s doors open. Without the team, we wouldn’t have any orders going out, and have a strong clientele. Our manager is always managing the time between projects among multiple teams with Quality Control.

Lupe Ortega
Production Manager

Lupe oversees the production team in the warehouse, with nearly 30 years of experience. While she is delegating projects, she ensures that the quality is high and the turnaround time meets your needs. Lupe also oversees our Sample requests to the absolute best, ensuring that any samples sent your way showcase our ability to manufacture a great product. Through her work ethic many of our projects come out in a timely manner, yet shows how great our quality is. Lupe prides herself in her product knowledge, especially when managing orders that need to go out. She will always double and triple check orders, making sure that they have been made to the highest quality and care.

SECO Purchasing

Our Purchasing department researches what the best prices are and who offers them. Without purchasing, production wouldn’t be able to convert films into flexible packaging products.

Julia Bravo
Marketing & Purchasing

Julia is in charge of Marketing and Purchasing for SECO Industries and has been with SECO since April of 2025. On the Marketing side; whether it is rebranding, new catalogues, or monthly flyers, Julia ensures that SECO is showcased on every level. On the Purchasing side, when an opportunity arises to look at lower costs, she will investigate to determine if that is something SECO can make a switch to. Julia has not been here long but has gained an extensive amount of product knowledge, along with ensuring the company is running smoothly by ordering the items needed for production. She prides herself in the work she does to make people notice SECO Industries.
